Why are your charges so much cheaper than your competitors?
We don't depend on making a large profit from a few funerals, preferring to perform many funerals at a lower profit margin each. We're privately owned & staffed, no big overheads, no Corporate masters to please.
Are your funerals of a reasonable standard?
Our funerals are at least at the same standard of more expensive funeral directors - quality staff, quality free celebrants, quality vehicles, quality supplied coffin, free quality memoriam book.
Can we expect to be slugged with hidden charges after the funeral
Never!! You're told the whole story each step of the way & you're only charged the amount that you & we agree upon at the funeral arrangement (which is as per our website prices).

Who owns the business?
Michael & Pam Hutchinson.
Michael has personally performed over 12,000 funerals & over 4,000 celebrant services through the length & breadth of Queensland, in a career of spanning more than 40 years ,elected by his peers to 4 terms as President of Australian Funeral Directors Assn. in Queensland.
Who do we deal with?
From start to finish you deal with the same funeral director from beginning to end.
Do you always provide a coffin within your charges?
Always. Optional coffins are available though the coffin we supply within our charges is most presentable ( see photo on Funeral Costs pages). We don't try to "upsell"you with a more expensive coffin.
Can we arrange a funeral on line?
Yes, we have all of the information allowing you to do this on this website. Just call us and then fill out the funeral arrangement form and send it basck to us. We'll contact you to organise the funeral times ect.
